Bill Dunham (BGS 1972-79) is included in the 125 UK service personnel to have been granted state honours by Her Majesty The Queen in the 2015 New Year Honours List. He received a promotion in the Military Division of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire from OBE to CBE.This award coincides with his retirement from the Royal Marines at the rank of Brigadier to take up the post of director strategy and corporate services at the Maritime and Coastguard Agency. He takes up this new post on 20 January.
